JOE LYNN TURNER To Take Part In Free Concert In Florida

February 13, 2006

On Saturday, March 18, The Rotary Club of Weston, The City of Weston, Florida, and title sponsor Cleveland Clinic Weston will be hosting the second annual free concert featuring Joe Lynn Turner (ex-RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE) and RPM (Rock & Pop Masters) at The Weston Regional Park Event Stage beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The RPM show features a group of original lead singers of some of the biggest, best music hits in rock history! RPM includes famous rock legends:

* Edgar Winter - "Free Ride", "Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo", and "Frankenstein"
* Larry Hoppen
* Lane Hoppen
* Joe Lynn Turner
* Charlie Morgan - former drummer for Elton John's band
* Jimi Jamison - SURVIVOR
* John Cafferty - original singer for all "Eddie & The Cruisers" songs, as well as the lead singer for THE BEAVER BROWN BAND
* Michael "Tunes" Antunes - actual sax player filmed in "Eddie & The Cruisers" footage and played sax on all the songs in the movie as well.

Rock & Pop Masters brings first-rate hit music from the '70s and '80s sung by original lead singers. The result is a show consisting of nothing but huge hit songs performed by the people whose voices you recognize and love. The singers are all backed by one terrific band and by the end of the night, all the singers and players are onstage adding to their friends' sounds in a "jam extravaganza."

The Weston Regional Park Event Stage is located at 20200 Saddle Club Road, next to the Weston Community Center. Concert attendees should bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on, refreshments and snacks will be available for sale.
